Intro to Jookin’ Blues

This is the place to discover blues dancing, or brush up your basics! This autumn we will focus on the fundamentals of Jookin’ Blues, one of the two main families of blues dancing. You will learn the basic steps, various forms of connections and simple moves.

In a typical class, we will:

• warm up our body
• explore a topic dancing solo
• put the moves to partnered Blues dancing

In the class, you can practice both leader and follower role.

Classes are taught in English and German.

Hier kannst du Blues Tanzen entdecken – oder frischst deine Grundlagen auf! Diesen Herbst konzentrieren wir uns auf die Grundlagen des Jookin’ Blues, einer der beiden Hauptfamilien der Blues Tänze. Du lernst die Grundschritte, verschiedene Formen der Verbindung und einfache Figuren.

In einer typischen Klasse werden wir:

• unseren Körper aufwärmen
• ein Thema solotanzend erkunden
• die Figuren in den Paartanz einbauen

Im Kurs kannst du sowohl die Lead- als auch die Follow-Rolle üben.

Der Unterricht findet auf Englisch und Deutsch statt.
