Shehan ist ein international gefragter Lindy-Hop-\, Jazzroots- und Blues-Lehrer\, engagiert sich in der Tanzszene\, ist Gründer von Swingin’ Réunion und Lindy Hop Ambassador (Frankie Manning Foundation). Er tourt gerade durch Europa… und wir konnten ihn für ein Wochenende ins MiMiMi holen! \nIm Lindy Hop ist er bekannt für seine mitreissende Energie\, seine tiefe Musikalität und dafür\, dass er Kurse gestaltet\, in denen sich die Tänzer spielerisch ausdrücken können\, sich wohlfühlen… und einfach tanzen! Da er auch ein internationaler Experte für die Big Apple Choreo ist\, bieten wir natürlich auch einen Kurs dazu an: \nSamstag\, 23. Mai  \n13:00–15:00 \nLindy Hop (Open Level) \nThema: Rhythm\, Groove & Connection \nEntdecke\, wie du dein Tanzen natürlich\, grounded und lebendig gestalten kannst. \nIn diesem Kurs konzentrieren wir uns auf Rhythmus\, Groove und Connection. Du bekommst einfache\, praktische Tools\, um dich auf der Tanzfläche sicherer zu fühlen\, egal ob du mit einem Partner tanzt oder dich in der Musik ausdrückst. \nWeniger denken\, mehr fühlen! Schluss mit dem “steps”“ – tanze mit Rhythmus\, mit deinem Partner\, mit der Musik! \n16:00–18:00 \nLindy Hop (Intermediate +) \nThema: Creative Social Dancing & Expression  \nEntdecke deine Kreativität! Anhand bekannter Strukturen wie Swingouts erkunden wir\, wie du mit Timing\, Formen und Variationen spielst\, um deine eigenen Bewegungen zu kreieren. \nEin Kurs\, der dir Tools vermittelt\, die dich noch lange nach dem Workshop begleiten werden. \nSonntag\, 24. Mai \n14:00–15:30 \nSolojazz (open level) \nThema: “Big Apple Foundations” or: “Life After the Bridge”  \n– Du solltest ein paar basic jazz steps kennen \n– NEIN\, du musst den Big Apple NICHT kennen um teilzunehmen! \n– Falls du den Big Apple schon kennst\, ist das ein toller Auffrischer \nDer Big Apple ist eine wunderschöne Choreo und ein “Klassiker” in der Lindy-Szene. Dieser Kurs ist für dich geeignet\, egal ob du sie schon kennst oder nicht. \nAnstatt die gesamte Choreografie durchzugehen\, konzentrieren wir uns auf eine Phrase (nach der Bridge) – quasi ein ganz normaler Jazz Workshop\, nur halt zufällig ein Teil des Big Apples. \nIn diesem Kurs lernst du Rhythmusgefühl\, Bewegung und Verständnis und wirst gleichzeitig auf die vollständige Choreografie vorbereitet\, falls du den zweiten Teil belegen möchtest. Du solltest einige grundlegende Jazz-Schritte kennen\, aber den Big Apple musst du nicht beherrschen.
